ACE retrieves 81 kanals

The retrieved land was handed over to the revenue department

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) retrieved state land of over 81 kanals from squatters in Toba Tek Singh district on Saturday.

The ACE spokesman said under the supervision of Anti-Corruption Regional Director Imran Raza Abbas, a team conducted an operation against the encroachers in Mauza Plant-B Pir Mehal.

As many as 41 kanals of state land were retrieved which has been occupied by the land grabbers for several years. Meanwhile, the ACE team also retrieved 40 kanals of land and one-marla from squatters in Chak No637-GB Pir Mehal district Toba Tek Singh where the land grabbers were using this land for agricultural purpose.

The retrieved land was handed over to the revenue department. Cases have been registered and further investigation was underway against the land grabbers.
