Categorical error: Paramedics want posts included

The Sindh government has been petitioned many times, but so far, there has been no action even after five years.

RATODERO: Government paramedics have demanded that certain job categories be added to the hierarchy or service structure that was restructured in 2006.

Zulfiqar Sahto, who is the vice chairman of the Pakistan Paramedics Association in Sindh, said that the previous coalition government had approved the changes so that all government employees were treated equally.

But more than 400 posts were left out.

The Sindh government has been petitioned many times, but so far, there has been no action even after five years.

During this period, many employees retired without getting any benefits.
