Deepika Padukone voted Sexiest Asian Woman of the decade

Deepika Padukone has made quite some leaps this decade and has another accolade to add to her vast list. The starlet has been voted the Sexiest Asian Woman of the decade by UK based publication, The Eastern Eye.

With the decade drawing to a close, there’s a ton of lists being compiled and released and this is the latest addition. Based on online votes, media coverage, and impact across various social media platforms, the list was released on Wednesday and also features Priyanka Chopra at the second spot.

The Padmaavat actor also appears on the annual Sexiest Asian Women of 2019 list at the second spot. Topping the annual list is Alia Bhatt, who has had a great year following the release of her blockbuster movie Gully Boy, in which she featured alongside Deepika’s husband, Ranveer Singh.

“I am so grateful to all my fans who continue to vote for me every year. This one is for a decade of love, ups and downs, support and magic. I have never considered myself sexy, but I believe when you do you - that's sexy. And I hope I can continue to do just that," said Deepika, as reported by Times of India.

Deepika made huge waves this past decade with major releases like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Race 2, Tamasha and Padmaavat. She also managed to make her way to Hollywood, appearing in XXX: Return of Xander Cage in 2017 with Vin Diesel. The stunner will also be seen in 2020’s Chhapaak, which is being touted as her most intense role yet.
