CDA removes 6 encroachments in Sector F-11
Building material depots and marble factories were removed
ISLAMABAD:
Continuing their anti-encroachment drive, the apex development authority of the federal capital on Sunday initiated an operation to clear the right-of-ways on Service Road West in Sector F-11 and on Khayban-e-Iqbal.
The action was taken on Sunday after the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had served notices to encroachers voluntarily vacate illegally occupied state land and to remove their encroachment.
After the three-day deadline expired, the Enforcement Directorate of CDA and other relevant departments, including the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration conducted an operation on Sunday.
They removed six large, building material depots and marble factories which had been illegally established by encroaching on the right-of-way on Service Road West.
Furthermore, notices were also served to other illegal occupants for removing encroachments within three days.
