Budget: Funds allocated for K-P projects

PESHAWAR: Huge funds have been allocated in the federal budget to initiate several projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including a hospital and an expressway between Hassan Abdal and Mansehra, provincial Minister for Labour Sher Azam Wazir said on Friday. Talking to the media, he said that the federal government has also allocated funds for the Chashma Right Bank Lift Canal project that will help irrigate millions of acres of land in southern districts of the province. He added that the projects would bring a positive change in the lives of people affected by militancy and economic depression.
