Treasury puts all blame of failure on different departments on the previous government

LAHORE: Traditional arguments, from both the treasury and opposition, were noticed throughout the Punjab Assembly session held on Thursday.

The opposition came down hard on the treasury while the treasury put all onus of failure on different departments of the previous government.

“It is the fault of the previous Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government”, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s Shahabuddin Khan, the parliamentary secretary of the communication and works department, while responding to the opposition’s query.

When Panel Chairmen Mian Shafi noticed the contradiction in the parliamentary secretary’s answer and the information provided by the department, he panned the question and directed that the answer be submitted again.
