Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan has ordered law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to take extraordinary security measures for the upcoming Shab-e-Barat, according to a handout issued on Friday. Wassan has directed LEAs to place restrictions on parking along the routes leading to large graveyards. Furthermore, he instructed LEAs to ensure proactive policing in sensitive areas, in collaboration with intelligence officials, and keeping a strict vigil for unattended parcels at railway stations, bus terminals and truck stands.
