Minor girl shot dead in Bahadur Goth

The seven-year-old was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in critical condition

KARACHI: A minor girl was gunned down by unidentified persons outside her home in Bahadur Goth, Afghan Camp, on Tuesday.

The deceased, identified as seven-year-old Muskan, was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in critical condition, where she succumbed to her injuries. Police handed over the body to the heirs after the completion of medico-legal formalities.

According to Muskan’s family, they have been told that unidentified persons shot in the back of her head while she was playing outside her home. The bullet penetrated her skull and exited through her forehead, they said.

Gulshan-e-Maymar Police Station SHO Ishtiaq Ghauri, on the other hand, said that Muskan was shot inside her home. The police are, however, further investigating the matter, he added.
