PM Imran lauds the kingdom's economic support to Pakistan

Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday and appreciated the role played by Pakistan - particularly doctors and engineers - in the development of Saudi Arabia.

During the prince’s visit to Pakistan in connection with his charity projects in Islamabad, the premier appreciated the kingdom's economic support to Pakistan.

He also acknowledged initiatives by the Saudi leadership to build a stronger economic relationship between Riyadh and Islamabad.

PM Imran lauded the progress and development in Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Crown Muhammad bin Salman. The prime minister further underscored that the relationship between the two countries is ‘unique’ and based on shared religion, culture and history.

The premier also emphasised the need for combating Islamophobia in the world.

The prime minister noted the economic improvements in Pakistan since his government came into power and highlighted the tourism and economic potential in the country.

PM Imran further apprised the prince regarding the human rights violation in Indian Occupied Kashmir and reiterated the need for the international community to stand with innocent Kashmiris who have been under lockdown for over 100 days.
