Flag march: Demonstrating vigilance

Police flag march to show preparedness.

Contingents of the city police on Friday conducted a flag march in different parts of the city to demonstrate their vigilance and preparedness to counter any untoward incident.


“The purpose was to send a message to criminals and lawless elements that the police are alert and ready to tackle any show of lawlessness,” said Senior Superintendent of Police Tahir Alam Khan.

A convoy of 40 vehicles led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Secretariat Shakir Ahmed Shahid started from Radio Pakistan Chowk and travelled to Dhokri Chowk after passing in front of Parliament House, Margallah Road, Atta Turk Avenue, Ayub Chowk, super market, 9th Avenue, I-8, Faisal Avenue and Kashmir Highway.
