Minority rights: ‘Jobs to be provided according to quota’
jobs should also be given to eligible candidates belonging to minorities on merit according to their sanctioned quota

LAHORE:
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed all government departments and other autonomous bodies on Thursday to provide jobs to minorities in accordance with the quota granted to them, Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Punjab Kamran Michael said while talking to APP on Thursday. Michael said that the chief minister had issued directives to all the administrative secretaries, heads of attached departments and organisations in the province that during the process of recruitment, jobs should also be given to eligible candidates belonging to minorities on merit according to their sanctioned quota.
