#RabiPirzada was the top trend in the country on Friday, with users of the micro-blogging site hitting out at the privacy breach.
"The vile campaign against Rabi Pirzada is a stark reminder of how privacy is violated to blackmail women into submission. Morality is used to justify such abhorrent campaigns whereas people leaking such footage hide behind societal norms. They should be behind bars," international public policy and gender reforms specialist Salman Sufi said.

We all have individual and civic lives, no one is authorized to question or dispute us about what we do in our private lives for as long as it is not attacking someone else's life. What #RabiPirzada or anyone else does in their private lives, is none of our business 1/3

Faran Khan said that it is no one's business what Rabi does in her private life.
"Today you are proudly posting someone's sister or daughter's stuff. Tomorrow someone will do the same with yours also. This world is round whatever u do today will come to hit u back," social media star Nasir Khan Jan said.

Aurat Haq, a Karachi-based political group also released a statement condemning the violation of privacy, as well as the abuse of trust in an intimate relationship.
"We condemn the weaponising of a woman's body against her for revenge porn. While we're on the subject - let's deconstruct why we shame women for their expression of sexuality," the statement went on to say.

Rights activist Nighat Dad also weighed in, saying that those who are weaponising non-consensual intimate images and videos, and forwarding them are committing a crime under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
"Don't be a silent bystander, report these tweets and do not forward this violence," she said.

However, certain quarters were actually of the view that Rabi was culpable as she should not have made the compromising videos in the first place.
They demonised her for having recorded the content which goes against religious and cultural sensibilities.
Rabi speaks out
Meanwhile, according to Express News, Rabi has lodged a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing following the privacy infringement.
She has called for a probe into the incident.
The singer said she had given her phone for repairing who leaked the videos on social media.
She has also requested the FIA to remove her videos from social media.
