Bride abducted in Muzaffargarh

The armed men held hostage the whole family at gunpoint

MUZAFFARGARH:
Seven armed persons allegedly abducted a bride and injured two others including her husband over putting up resistance at Basti Jarh Muradabad.

A police spokesperson said seven armed men including Rizwan, Amjad, Ameer Hussain, Yasin and others entered the house of Abdul Rehman on Thursday night and held hostage the whole family at gunpoint.


They allegedly abducted the newlywed bride Najma and injured her husband Rizwan and uncle Syedullah over putting resistance.

Heavy police contingent reached the spot and arrested two accused Ameer Hussain and Haider Abbas. The police also recovered one rifle, one pistol and bullets. However, the teams conducted raids in various areas to recover the abductee.
