
The decision was taken during a meeting, presided over by Sindh Police Inspector-General (IGP) Dr Syed Kaleem Imam, at the Central Police Office on Tuesday, as recommendations and proposals for upgrading the helpline service were considered.
Addressing the meeting, Sindh IG said that Madadgar-15 will be relaunched as a pilot project.

It was decided in the meeting that the service will be placed at the disposal of Karachi Additional Inspector-General (AIG) Ghulam Nabi Memon and emergency response service DIG will be appointed to head Madadgar-15's operations.
The participants of the meeting agreed to bring more police units, including security one and two, foreign security cell, private security cell, Special Security Unit (SSU), Rapid Response Force (RRF), Muhafiz Force and Crowd Management Unit, under Madadgar-15.
