KARACHI: The tropical cyclone in the Arabian Sea, Kyarr, has strengthened and rains are expected in the lower areas of Sindh and coastal areas of Balochistan's Makran division later this week.

The cyclone is heading towards the West and North-West direction. The Pakistan Meteorological Department clarified on Saturday that Pakistan's coastal areas are not under any threat, however, they still advised fishermen to refrain from fishing in the deep sea for a few days due to the effects of the cyclone in the sea.

The MET department has said that today (Sunday), the weather will remain warm and dry while the maximum temperature may be recorded at 36 to 38 degree Celsius.
