NAB forms CIT against Jam Khan Shoro

Shoro is accused of illegally allotting four acres of land

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has formed a combined investigation team (CIT) to investigate the allegations of illegal land allotment levelled against former provincial government minister Jam Khan Shoro, revealed NAB sources on Saturday.

According to NAB sources, investigation against Shoro has been expedited and the accountability watchdog officials have sought records of lands owned by the former minister and his family members. Moreover, NAB has also recorded the statement of a bank officer, Altaf Memon, the sources revealed.

In this regard, a report containing details about illegal allotment of land in Qasimabad taluka and Hyderabad has been dispatched to the nab chairman.

Shoro is accused of illegally allotting four acres of land. Besides, his brother, former chairmen of Qasimabad municipal committee Kashif Shoro, Shah Muhammad Shoro and Aqa Bilal Shoro have also been accused of illegal land allotment.
