‘Best medical facilities ensured for Nawaz Sharif’

PTI govt will respect court orders says provincial minister for health

LAHORE: The government will follow the court’s order about Nawaz Sharif in letter and spirit as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) respects the courts, said Provincial Minister for Health Dr Yasmeen Rashid. She expressed these views while addressing a press conference at DGPR office on Friday.

Electronic Media Director Robina Zahid and News Director Javed Younas were also present on this occasion. The provincial minister said that treatment of Nawaz Sharif had started timely and his condition will further improve in the next two and three days. “Last night, he was not feeling well.”

She added that Dr Shamsi has formally started the treatment. “Efforts are being made to provide the best medical facilities to the ex-PM. Government has already offered him to provide any doctor or medicine from abroad.” Reports are being shared with the personal physician of Nawaz Sharif on a daily basis, she highlighted. “Doctors are treating the PML-N supremo by taking him and his personal physician Dr Adnan into confidence.

During a meeting, Nawaz Sharif expressed complete satisfaction over the treatment being provided to him.
