QUETTA: A woman allegedly gunned down her husband after she realised that he was going to marry for the second time in Balochistan's Pishin district on Tuesday.

The victim, identified as Rehmat Ullah, was a resident of Zareefabad.

According to the preliminary investigation, the woman has confessed that she committed the murder with the assistance of her maternal cousin.

The accused has been taken into custody. The Levies Forces have also recovered a pistol and bullets from the crime scene.

In February, four members of a family – father and his three children – died of suffocation in Quetta’s Pashtoonabad area.
