FAISALABAD:
A factory worker was electrocuted on Monday evening. According to police officials, power loom worker Abdul Ghaffar was electrocuted while working to repair the main circuit lines at the power loom. Ghaffar received a massive shock and died instantly. Other workers at the power looms said that Ghaffar was rushed to General Hospital Ghulam Muhammad Abad but doctors said that he was already dead on arrival. Locals have protested against the power loom owner and said that they had repeatedly complained about the faulty power lines but the factory owners had not taken any notice. The protesters said that the factory workers had been warned of severe malfunctions in the building’s circuit system but they had repeatedly ignored their requests to take action.
