Sindh police arrests 12 suspects from different parts of Karachi

KARACHI: Police claimed to have arrested 12 suspects in raids in different parts of the city and seized weapons, drugs, stolen motorcycles and other valuables.

Sachal Police arrested two accused, Zahid and Muhammad Bakhsh, who were accused of being involved in stealing and snatching motorcycles from the jurisdiction of Jauharabad, Azizabad and Sachal Police Stations. The law enforcers also claimed to have recovered nine motorcycles, bearing registration numbers KDF 7242, KHY 3936, KHE 7586, KMN 2731, BRK 6222, KLG 9276, KEX 9130, KBS 9495 and KBM 4397. According to the police, the suspects used to sell the stolen motorcycles in Balochistan and other parts of Sindh.

In another targeted raid, Docks Police claimed to have arrested a woman identified as Aisha from Macchar Colony. The suspect was allegedly involved in drug peddling. Police said that they seized 1.25 kilogrammes of hashish from her possession and have initiated legal action against the suspect under the Prohibition Order, 1979.

Separately, Preedy Police claimed to have arrested an accused, Liaquat, who was allegedly involved in several incidents of theft in the residential area. The law enforcers also claimed to have seized illegal weapons and tools from the suspect's possession. A security guard saw the accused trying to break into the house from a window near Mubarak Manzil at Abdullah Haroon Road. The guard informed the police, who caught the suspect red-handed.

Meanwhile, Ittehad Town Police arrested two suspects, Muhammad Abid and Muhammad Shakil, and confiscated 430 grams of hashish. According to police, the accused were habitual criminals and drug dealers.

On the other hand, Madina Police arrested a motorcycle lifter, Aman, and recovered a motorcycle from his possession. Police claimed that the arrested individual was involved in multiple incidents of motorcycle lifting.

Pirabad Police arrested Imran and seized a pistol and a stolen motorcycle, bearing registration number KEL-6853.

SITE Police took a street criminal, Imran, into custody and also recovered a pistol and a stolen motorcycle from his possession, which he had snatched from the jurisdiction of Orangi Town Police Station.

In a separate operation, Saeedabad Police arrested accused Naimatullah and seized a .30 bore pistol along with bullets and a motorcycle, bearing registration number MNQ-3105, which was stolen from the jurisdiction of Saeedabad Police Station.
