Arrangements for Urs celebrations finalised in Lahore
Celebrations will begin on October 18 and will end on October 20

The Punjab Auqaf department has completed all arrangements for the 976th Urs celebrations of Abul Hassan Ali Hajveri, commonly known as Data Ganj Bakhsh. Celebrations will begin on October 18 and will end on October 20.
Addressing the media on Tuesday, Punjab Auqaf Minister Syed Saeedul Hasan stated that the department has allocated Rs10 million for food while hundreds of religious scholars and naat khawans have been invited.
He highlighted that foolproof security arrangements have been made. Around 103 CCTV cameras have been installed while 40 high definition cameras have been set up to monitor public movement in and around the shrine.
