Embattled Indian PM keeps top team in reshuffle
The finance, home, defence and foreign affairs posts were unaltered in the Congress-led government, but high-profile environment minister Jairam Ramesh was promoted to the cabinet and moved to the rural development portfolio.
Halfway through its second term, the administration led by Singh's Congress Party has suffered from months of bad headlines over corruption claims, stubbornly high inflation and slowing economic growth.
Last month, Singh rejected criticism that he had become a "lame duck" leader and promised a cabinet reshuffle that would infuse fresh energy into his administration.
Milind Deora, a young Congress politician, was given the telecoms ministry brief after the last two holders of the job, both from the regional DMK party that is part of the ruling alliance, resigned over corruption claims.
Veerappa Moily was replaced as law minister by Salman Khursheed, while Dinesh Trivedi took the railways post.

Dr. Singh, leave your job gracefully. You being an intellectual should not become one among many corrupt and thick skinned politician. Corruption is rampant in your govt. and you have no authority to control it, since all the administrative and political power lies with Sonia, Rahul Gandhi and their advisors.
Nothing but a downfall of this regime is what we want.
