Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Nestle's manufacturing facility on Tuesday, Sarwar said the government was making concrete efforts to revive the national economy. Nestle Pakistan has recently invested $22 million to enhance production capacity of its products.
The new plant will facilitate the company in producing 24,000 units per hour.
Fluctuations in the rupee value has forced the company to halt some of its imports, hence, it is looking to localise these segments with the help of domestic investors who are willing to invest in pulp manufacturing plants.
On the occasion, company CEO Samer Chedid said the government was helping in reducing bottlenecks keeping in view the ease of doing business in Pakistan.
