The decision was taken during the provincial cabinet meeting chaired by the CM.
During the meeting, the CM has also announced extending the contract of 1,489 teachers to ease them specially providing relief to the teachers hailing from remote areas of the province. The extension would help in fully utilising human resources and ensure provision of quality education.
Moreover, the government of Balochistan has also approved conveyance allowance for academic staff during summer and winter vacations. The education department has decided to constitute a committee in order to review teachers’ demand of increase in salary considering the time-scale of teachers.
To prevent the continuous strikes by doctors of government hospitals, the CM has approved Special Health Services Bill 2019 which would revamp the performance of doctors and paramedical staff.
The members of cabinet have agreed to review management regarding Economic Zones and Industrial State issues in next cabinet meeting. However, the cabinet has decided to keep the Constitutional Amendment Bill 2019 in its original form.
With the consensus of cabinet members, Kamal approved release of surrendered and lapsed funds for development schemes in Kalat Zone. Moreover, the CM has also approved funds for Balochistan Public Endowment and non-development budget.
The cabinet has also decided to constitute a committee to exonerate section 20 from Pepra rules following timely completion of Quetta Safe City Project. To strengthen the production of provincial mining sector, the CM has approved the establishment of laboratory for Mines and Mineral Department.
