Two killed in Wadh road accident

A Panjgur bound car coming from Karachi was hit by a small truck coming from the opposite direction

QUETTA: At least two women died and five others sustained injuries in a collision between a car and a truck at Quetta-Karachi National Highway near Wadh area of Khuzdar district on Thursday. Levies officials said a Panjgur bound car coming from Karachi carrying a family was hit by a small truck coming from opposite direction near Wadh area. As a result two women died on the spot while five others were injured. Levies rushed to the site and shifted the casualties to Rural Health Centre of Wadh. The driver of other vehicle also received injuries. Bodies were handed over to the heirs after completing medico-legal formalities. They said the incident took place because of speeding. The identity of the victims could not be ascertained.
