Yasir Hussain is set to make big screen comeback

He will be by Iqra Aziz's side for her debut flick

It's official! Yasir Hussain and his fiancé Iqra Aziz are all set to team up for a brand new feature film.

The Chhalawa actor is getting ready to star in an upcoming rom-com, slated to release on Eidul Fitr next year. The project will be the award-winning Suno Chanda beauty's cinematic debut.

Meanwhile, Yasir has made cameos in recent films such as Baaji, but the highly-anticipated film with Iqra will be his first time playing a prominent character after 2016's Lahore Se Aagay.

The film's cast also includes Enaaya star Faryal Mehmood and Faizan Khawaja, who won Best Supporting Actor award at the Lux Style Awards this year.

Iqra and Yasir have been in the public eye as a real life couple since the prestigious event, where the actor surprised the audience by proposing to her. The star took home a myriad of awards and was highly praised for her role as Jiya in Suno Chanda.

Iqra bagged two LSA accolades for her performance. Besides this, she also received ample praises for her show Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, alongside critically-acclaimed star Imran Ashraf.

Yasir, on the other hand, has been doing theatre with Anwar Maqsood’s Naach Na Janay. The play has been helmed by famous director Dawar Mahmood.

Following their public engagement, Iqra took to social media to declare her love for her fiance. “My man expressed his love in front of the world, which takes a lot of guts, and I am blissful. You’r my zing. Thank you for being so expressive, generous, caring, loving, chivalrous, realistic and noble. I love you!” she wrote in a long Instagram post showing off her engagement ring.
