Commissioner visits BVH dengue ward

Bahawalpur Division Commissioner Nayyar Iqbal directs the hospital to take special care of the patients

BAHAWALPUR: Bahawalpur Division Commissioner Nayyar Iqbal visited the dengue ward at Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) on Wednesday and inquired about the health of patients admitted to the facility. He also directed the hospital administration to take special care of the patients. He maintained that efficient surveillance of dengue larvae is under way in the division. He claimed that no local dengue patient had been admitted to a single hospital in Bahawalpur division. He directed the concerned authorities to ensure that accumulated rainwater is cleared from the roads.
