Three killed, two injured in road accident near Kathore

KARACHI: Three people were killed and two others injured in a road accident on M-9 Motorway near Kathore. The deceased have been identified as Sanghar, 19, Abron, 10, and Farooq, 25, who were residents of Mehmoodabad. According to rescue workers, the deceased’s car had broken down after its engine stopped working. They were pushing the car to the roadside when a truck ran over them. As a result, they died on the spot. Besides, two persons, who were sitting inside the car, sustained injuries. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Baqai University Hospital near toll plaza. According to the police, the heirs took the bodies without the completion of medico-legal formalities.
