HYDERABAD: Expressing concern over environmental samples testing positive for poliovirus, Hyderabad Commissioner Abbas Baloch said that polio is a serious issue and all stakeholders should work together for its eradication. Presiding over a meeting on Tuesday, he directed the union councils to ascertain the reason behind refusals and revise micro plans for polio control to ensure that all targets are achieved. Baloch also directed the officials to take action against those found to be negligent of their duties during the anti-polio drive.
