MoU signed for academic partnership  

The UMT President says thatUMT is providing a quality education through research and highly qualified faculty

The University of Management and Technology (UMT) and Pakistan Navy War College (PNWC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate and explore the possibilities of joint research activities. The MoU was signed by UMT President Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Pakistan Navy Commander Central Punjab Rear Admiral Zahid Ilyas and PNWC commandant, on behalf of their respective institutions. UMT Rector Dr Muhammad Aslam, Chief Advisor to President Dr Muhammad Shoaib and Department of Political Science and International relations chairman were also present on the occasion. The UMT President said that UMT is providing quality education through research and highly qualified faculty. “The purpose of this MoU is to promote intellectual growth and to foster academic interaction through activities such as exchange of expertise, new research and collaborative organisation of seminars, conferences and symposiums.” The commandant shared his views and said that through this initiative academia and students would be able to realise the true potential of blue economy whilst comprehending the security dynamics of maritime milieu. “PNWC’s collaboration will play a vital role in achieving national objectives for transformation and progress through education and research with combination of the key strengths of the both institutions.”
