KARACHI:
The police has been asked to increase security across the whole province for Shab-e-Barat, said IG police Wajid Ali Durrani on Sunday. He asked police officials to ensure that proper security is available at mosques, imambargahs, religious congregations and graveyards. “The parking areas should be kept under close watch so that no suspicious vehicle can make its way through,” he said. Durrani added that the ban on firecrackers should be implemented in letter and spirit.
