Balochistan communication and works minister pledges uplift projects for Chagai

More than Rs30 million allocated for hospital

QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Communication and Works (C&W) Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani has said the provision of basic facilities to the people remains the top priority of the government, adding that development projects will be facilitated across Chagai District.

He shared these views on Monday while inaugurating a water scheme worth 30 million rupees in Chagai.  At least 270 water supply schemes in the district will be introduced, he added.

“More than Rs30 million has been allocated for Dalbandin Hospital and the construction is underway for a bus stop worth Rs50 million,” Arif Hassani said, informing that 11 new dams would also be constructed in the district.

Minister says govt has zero-tolerance for graft

“The government is planning to build 15 new basic health units to ensure quality health facilities for the people of Chagai and 100 primary schools would also be furnished to ensure quality education,” he assured.

The minister slammed the previous regimes for neglecting the people of Chagai. He reiterated that the present government is taking all measures to uplift development in the district.

“Two emergency centres would be constructed between Taftan and Dalbandin to provide emergency services at RCD highway,” he said.

Arif Jan Muhammad further directed the authorities to ensure timely completion of all development projects.
