Conservation of Balochi culture discussed

Participants of a literary session deliberated on the culture of Balochistan, its conservation and ways ahead.

The session "Cultural Review of Balochistan", part of an ongoing series called Muzakra, was organised by the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage — Lok Virsa —at its Media Centre.

Participants shed light on the Baloch culture and its significance. They further discussed efforts to safeguard and conserve it, with challenges and ways ahead.

A holistic review of the tangible and intangible segments of the cultural heritage of Balochistan was undertaken during the session. Former Balochistan Public Relations director General Noor Hassani discussed at length the diversity of the province and the efforts undertaken to preserve its main features as one of the oldest cultural heritage in the world.
