Law and Order: 11 new police stations approved

Inspector General of Police Javed Iqbal has approved the establishment of 11 new police stations in the province

LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Javed Iqbal has approved the establishment of 11 new police stations in the province, according to a notification issued on Saturday.

Three of these would be set up in Lahore in Nawab Town, Mustafa Town and Sundar areas. Nawab Town police station would serve some areas now under Sattukatla police station; Mustafa Town parts of Hanjerwal police station and Sundar police station parts of Manga Mandi police station. New police stations planned for other districts are: Housing Colony police station in Sheikhpura; Airport police station in Sialkot; Sadar Wah Cantt police station in Rawalpindi; Satellite Town police station in Jhang; Chidru police station in Musa Khail, Mianwali; Raja Ram police station in Shujabad, Multan; and Gadai and Taunsa Sharif police stations in Dera Ghazi Khan.
