Golf: Muneer grabs lead at Sindh Open

KARACHI: Islamabad’s Mohammad Muneer dominated the second round of the ongoing BYCO 13th Sindh Open Golf Championship 2011 when he played two rounds of 11-under par 67 to grab the top spot at the event. Ansar Mehmood sits at second place with six-under par 72 to his credit as day two ended at the Arabian Sea Country Club yesterday. Muneer currently leads the list of 88 other golfers with 133 points, ahead of Mehmood who has a total of 138. Shaikh Javed follows the two golfers at third place, playing two rounds of three-under par with 141 points while Shabbir Iqbal is placed fourth.
