LAHORE: The conflict started by India in Indian-held Kashmir can spread to other states and union territories in India said Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Mian Aslam Iqbal.

“The Indian government is following a brute policy of torture and genocide of the Kashmiri people along with continued curfew but it cannot stop the Kashmiris from their right of self-determination.”

These views were expressed by him while addressing a protest gathering of the journalists’ community outside the Punjab Assembly on Friday.

The information minister thanked the journalists for arranging the procession to express solidarity with the Kashmiris on the call of journalists’ community in Indian-held Kashmir.

“The hearts of the Pakistani people beat in unison with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and the whole nation is firmly standing with the Kashmiris.”
