QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Justice (retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that in order to develop young minds, it is imperative for students to cultivate the habit of reading books.

He expressed these views on Tuesday while talking to media at a local law college where he inaugurated a two-day book festival.

“In order to discourage extremism from our society, we have to make the youth of this province pay attention to education and reading."

Lauding the festival organisers, the governor said that in the current scenario, such a festival would help acquaint the younger generation with the joys of reading.
