Three wood smugglers caught 

Rawalpindi police arrest up to 13 suspects for committing various crimes

RAWALPINDI: Murree Police foiled an attempt to smuggle expensive keel wood in an ambulance. Sub-Inspector Yasir Mehmood said that the police stopped an ambulance for checking on a picket and found keel wood in the vehicle. The suspects Ziaur Rehman, Mohsin Abbas and Asim Abbas failed to produce any permit for transporting timber. Subsequently, police started investigation after registration of a case. Separately, Rawalpindi police have arrested up to 13 suspects for committing various crimes on Monday. The suspects were arrested during raids and checking on pickets. During the action, the police recovered around 1kg of drugs, 35 liters liquor and five pistols. The police have registered separate cases against all suspects.
