ACs to also work as additional collectors revenue

ISLAMABAD: As part of reforms to improve the working of the revenue department, the assistant commissioners of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) have been given the extra responsibility to supervise the work of naib tehsildars in their jurisdiction.

ICT Chief Commissioner Aamir Ali Ahmed, in the exercise of powers of Board of Revenue, has deputed five newly appointed assistant commissioners as additional collectors of revenue.

This move has been done to improve management and ensure better supervision of the revenue department. Now ACs will directly supervise the work of naib tehslidars in Islamabad.

At the same time, the chief commissioner has issued directions for timelines regarding the disposal of cases. From today onwards cause list of cases will be uploaded on the website.
