Day Of Mourning: Hyderabad relatively unaffected

Day of mourning called by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was only observed in two districts of Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD: Out of the four tehsils in Hyderabad, the day of mourning called by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was only observed in Latifabad and City.

In Latifabad and City there was some aerial firing, tyre burning and stoning of vehicles that continued through Thursday night to Friday.  Qasimabad and Rural Hyderabad tehsils, which have a Sindhi-speaking majority, were not affected much as much.
