RAWALPINDI: The Provincial Minister for Colonies Fayyaz Chohan installed 19 tube-wells in his constituency. The tube-wells would end the scarcity of clean drinking water in the area, he said.

The minister visited his constituency on Monday and met with locals. On the occasion, he spoke about the former government’s performance and said that they only installed 20 tube-wells during the five-year tenure but it was far short of the number of tube-wells required to adequately serve the residents of the constituency, he added.

However, he requested citizens to use natural resources carefully adding that the citizens must co-operate with the cleaning staff and avoid littering outside their homes.

Chohan urged that residents should take complete advantage of the services of the cleanliness staff.
