‘Rs1.2b allocated for 185 projects in Sargodha division’

SARGODHA: Under the Prime Minister Development Programme, Rs1.2 billion were being utilised on 185 development schemes in Sargodha division.

An official from the commissioner's office said that 16 schemes regarding health and cleanliness, 16 projects for the provision of gas and 151 power projects had been approved for Sargodha district. Two clean drinking water projects, six FMR schemes, four health and cleanliness schemes, six public parks schemes and 204 power projects have been approved for Khushab district, he said. He added that 12 health and cleanliness schemes and 111 electricity schemes were also under way in Mianwali district.

Further, 20 health and cleanliness projects and 540 schemes for the provision of electricity had been approved Bhakkar district. The official claimed that Rs275.7 million had been spent so far on 175 approved schemes in Khushab, Rs118 million on 11 schemes in Mianwali and Rs150 million on 127 schemes in Bhakkar.
