PML-N MPAs demand the government to take notice
LAHORE:
A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA sought a debate in Punjab Assembly over the implementation of official food rates. MPA Sumaira Komal submitted an adjournment motion in the PA Secretariat seeking a debate over an issue which has affected the lives of the common people. She underlined that the public is facing problems at the hands of shopkeepers which are involved in charging exorbitant rates for daily commodities at Sunday Bazaars. She also highlighted that vegetables are not being sold at the official rates. Exorbitantly high prices are being charged for substandard items, she explained, adding that facilities are also not being provided to visitors. There is no proper place for citizens to sit. She demanded the government take notice of the price hike.
