Govt to release additional funds

To ensure the timely completion of development projects

QUETTA: Balochistan government has decided to release additional funds for development schemes in the province following the directions of Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan. The initiative has been taken to ensure timely completion and quality of the development projects, said a statement. The provincial government has planned to release funds on the conditional of quality and progress. According to the directions of the provincial government, commissioners and monitoring officers will be required to submit progress reports in order to avail the funds. The officers will be bound to submit progress reports in order to utilise additional resources, according to the CM’s orders specified for divisional commissioner and monitoring officers. The step has been taken to curb irregularities in the development schemes and ensure timely completion of projects related to infrastructure.
