‘Assistant force to help build confidence’

Force will also provide better services in police stations to citizens at the district level

SARGODHA: Setting up of an assistant police force in police stations will help in building the confidence of police among the general public, said Provincial Minister for Human Resources and Development Ansar Majeed Niazi. He stated this while addressing an inaugural ceremony of assistant force in Police Lines, Sargodha. The provincial minister added that the purpose of setting up of this force is to make the police stations apolitical.

Speaking on the occasion, DPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera said that the assistant force will provide better services in police stations to citizens at the district level. He added that people will be provided with guidance and a friendly environment in an improved police culture at the district level.

He further said that at the reception of every police station, a civilized, educated and young staff will be appointed.
