issuing red warrants against musharaf would not make any major breakthrough..as mush: government's records say that bugti died due to the collapse of cave and not due to the deliberate murder attempt...anywy our criminal justice system is such a weak and inept that terrorists with real murder charges of hundreds are aquitted at the end of day..so musharaf has no chance of being punished...secondly people like bugti deserved what he had received...bugti's trial in the same way would ve aquitted him...
@Mirza: Bugti was on the run surrounded by his private army. The army went to talk to him, but he blew him self up like a suicide bomber killing himself and the army colonel sent to talk to him
About time. ( @mawali and others) the real feudals in Pakistan have been the uniformed ones with stars on their epaulettes - they take most of the money and the land, make non-entities into 'national' politicians, dismiss elected governments, turn thugs into freedom fighters and then back in to nasty thugs again, and on occasion bump off anyone they dislike or poses a problem for them. These are the people who have taken upon themselves to decide who is a patriot or a traitor.
In my books Musharraf horribly betrayed Pakistan, so who is going to punish this traitor? As I don't have a khaki uniform I might as well be whistling in the wind.
The same pattren is being repeated again and again, The generals involved in getting rid of Politicians, The Politicians encouraging the Generals to play God, I am not saying this because I high regards for the Bughtis, who did nothing more then promoting themselves as Wadahas and proved hungry for Power and control the Life of people of Balouchistan. If a Red warrant is issued for Musharaff then so should it be isssued for all the Politicians and Armed Forces personal involved in killing and destablizing Pakistan for their personal greed and power
Musharraf helped the Baluchi's get rid of a tyrant, a hard core fuedal lord, one who unmercilessly kept his own people in literal darkness. Yet there are plenty of the same kind all over Pakistan; how many has Pakistan taken to court for the injustices these shameless lords continue to inflict on the people of Pakistan? Get real!
i miss musharraf!... we had peace progress.. growth ...jobs.. "roti kapra makaan" was way cheaper.. petrol was cheaper...cricket teams used to visit us...we had investment.. we had a little bit of respect.. we had hope!.. now we have Democracy! and rehman malik statements and his continuous reference to stars wars and the third element!...
