Mel B compares fellow former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham to her dog

She said the canine is easier and cheaper to handle than Posh Spice

Spice Girls member Mel B couldn’t resist making her longtime friend and former band mate, Victoria Beckham, the butt of jokes recently.

While on her Brutally Honest & Fabulous tour, she compared the fashion designer to a dog, reported Metro. The star is currently making her way around the UK on her one-woman show and, of course, took the opportunity to poke fun the fashionista. But, the joke isn't just about any dog, rather Mel B's own pooch Cookie.

‘"So Cookie joined us on tour. I didn’t even want this dog, to be honest, because my friend bought it for my family for Christmas. But I fell in love with her and now she comes everywhere with me," Mel B said during the Leeds show at the Grand Theatre over the weekend.

The singer reportedly laughed with the audience as she continued to take aim at Posh Spice. "She’s easier than Victoria to handle – and cheaper."

While she wasn’t initially keen on the pooch, the 44-year-old has formed a close bond with Cookie and loves her big personality. "On my way to work with my baby girl Cookie, stuck in a bit of traffic… Ok, let me tell ya my my baby girl Cookie, who I obviously love so much, sh matched my outfit today. She may be small but she has the biggest, loving personality ever," she wrote on a recent Instagram post.

The pop star added, "How anyone can harm dogs or any animals in fact is just unexplainable period. #Animallover all day, every day."
