KHANEWAL: A doctor was charged for administering the wrong injection to a youth, who was paralyzed and lost his eyesight. According to locals in Kabirwala, a basic health unit doctor administered the wrong injection to a youth who later lost his eyesight and his hands and feet were paralyzed. In the Nau Kagha area, 26-year-old Munir Ahmad was suffering from fever and went to Dr Shakil Ahmed for medicine. Dr Shakil asked his naib qasid to administer him an injection, following which the boy’s condition worsened. Ahmed was taken to the hospital in Khanewal, where doctors said he had lost his eyesight and was paralysed.
