MULTAN: A ninth grade student was abducted from her school on Wednesday afternoon. According to police officials, Shahnaz Kausar resident Mumtazabad Yaqub’s daughter Hira was studying at a worker’s welfare school. She received a call from the school on Wednesday morning to come to collect some of her documents. The girl’s uncle Tanvir Akhtar dropped Hira at the school but she was not there when he returned to pick her up.  The girl’s family said that police officials were unwilling to register a case. The school headmistress has refused to comment on the situation. On the other hand, Gulgasht superintendent police (SP) said a case would be registered.
