Harvard delegation meets IGP   

A detailed exchange of views over research and development along with matters of mutual interest were discussed

LAHORE: Research on police projects by an international institution is not just a third party audit but an honour for Punjab Police, said Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Arif Nawaz Khan. He stated this during a meeting with a two-member delegation headed by Dr Asim Ejaz of Harvard Kennedy School in central police office. The delegation showed interest in research on public service delivery and IT projects of Punjab Police. A detailed exchange of views over research and development along with matters of mutual interest were discussed. During the discussion, Dr Asim told the IGP that Punjab Police has ensured that the projects of 8787 complaint cell, Khidmat Markaz along with other IT projects are in international standards. “Punjab Police has delivered in a very short period of time and set an example for other public service delivery departments.
